What is Fyg?
Fyg is a personal life-tracking assistant. You talk to it in plain language, and it captures what you say as structured, queryable data — meals, workouts, tasks, mood, finances, time, whatever you care about. Then you can ask it questions about that data in the same chat.
How is this different from Notion, Todoist, or Apple Health?
Those tools ask you to pick a structure first — a database, a project, a category — and then fit your life into it. Fyg inverts that: you describe what happened, and it figures out the structure. One surface, no setup, one conversation that does both capture and analytics.
Is my data private?
Yes. Fyg is single-tenant — your data is yours alone, stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. There's no social feed, no ads, no third-party data sharing. See the privacy page for the plain-language breakdown.
Where does my data actually live?
On servers we operate directly. During Beta, that's a small AWS-hosted Postgres instance with daily backups. As the product grows we may offer self-hosting; the data is already in a format that travels.
Can I export my data?
Yes — CSV and JSON export are built in. You own every row, you can leave anytime, and your data leaves with you.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet — Fyg is currently a fast, mobile-friendly web app you can add to your home screen. Native apps are on the roadmap; the Beta runs in your browser.
How do I join the Beta?
Drop your email on the home page or via the Request Beta access button. We onboard testers in small cohorts (currently around 50 per cohort) to keep feedback tight and the product stable. Interest is high — sooner is better.
When will Fyg open to everyone?
When we're confident every tester is having a great time. We'd rather move slowly and well than open the doors before the product is ready to deliver. New cohorts open every few weeks.
Will it always be free?
The Beta is free, and early testers will get grandfathered rates whenever we move to paid plans. Pricing details will come well before any change — you won't be surprised by a bill.
